When your old, dated siding just isn’t up to the task anymore, give National Home Improvement a call. We’re ready and able to tackle any challenge with innovative solutions and contemporary, long-lasting products.

Board and batten siding can be an outdate look, and a real challenge to paint when needed. Trying to get all of those corners and seams done right just might not be worth the challenge. We tore off all of the board and batten siding, old window and door trim and shutters.

First up is the permeable house wrap to protect the house. We then installed vertical LP SmartSide panels in the front gable for distinctive curb appeal, with a horizontal band to separate it from the horizontal lap siding below. Finishing off the rest of the house with LP SmartSide engineered wood substrate lap siding with a 7-inch reveal and SmartSide trim around the windows and doors.

On this house, the soffit and fascia were still in good shape and not replaced. This is a practical and cost-effective solution for some homeowners. Finishing touches included installing mounting blocks for the exterior lights and new gable vents.

Lastly, a quality paint finish in your choice of colors and trims will really make your house standout from the neighbors.
