Alside is a company that has been making building materials for home improvement since 1947. They have seven facilities across the United States where they produce their goods, in states like Ohio, North Carolina, and Arizona. From their beginnings in the 1940s with the invention of the first residential baked enamel aluminum siding (the inspiration for which came from seeing how the paint would bond to the aluminum used in fuselages on Army Air Corps aircraft) onward, they’ve been driving innovation in a number of home improvement categories. Alside is a division of Associated Materials Incorporated, as well as a charter member of numerous industry organizations, including the Vinyl Stilting Institute, the American Association of Architects, and more.
