Crane Siding was founded in the late 1940s in Ohio. Originally founded as Crane Plastics, they began to work with vinyl, developing the first vinyl extrusion die system in the 1950s. Crane Siding is responsible for the availability of affordable vinyl siding, one could say, and they didn’t stop innovating with their development of the extrusion die system.
In the 1970s, Crane Siding moved out of the systems development field, and into selling their own siding, offering products like Solid Core Siding and Crane Performance Siding. Their current most popular brands include American Dream Edge, Premium Pointe 360, and Carolina Sands. While most vinyl siding companies tout that their siding is low maintenance, Crane Siding tells the customer that they will not need to paint their siding to make it look better.
Popular lines that Crane Siding currently offers include:
They also currently offer their own line of Trim and Soffit.
